Alta Vista has teamed up with LookSmart. LookSmart offers an Express Submit form ($199) in which they guarantee your site to be reviewed within 48 hours - this does not guarantee acceptance. LookSmart also offers an 8-week submission form for $79. These two methods guarantee a review of your site and if accepted you will be indexed with LookSmarts network of Search Engines, which includes: MSN, Excite, and Alta Vista.
 
Alta Vista still offers a free submission. If you use proper metatags, emphasizing your Title you will see your site posted usually within 2 weeks using the free submission form.
 
To add your site to Alta Vista use their Add/Remove URL page. Simply type in the main URL for your Web page. You can submit more than one URL, but it is considered thoughtless to manually submit your entire site. The AltaVista Superspider will index your entire site over time, so we recommend that you only submit one or two URLs.
